| The Heidelberg Choral Society (HCS) was formed in 1920.
Peter Bandy is the Artistic Director and Conductor. Peter was appointed in September 2010 replacing Matthew Toogood who has taken up a position in Germany. Peter was a guest conductor in 2010 for our performance of Mendelssohn's Saint Paul oratorio. Peter will take up his appointment in February 2011. Tim Phillips is guest conductor for the December concert featuring Gounod's St Cecilia Mass.
HCS performs classical sacred and secular choral works, as well as part songs, oratorios, operas and madrigals. Depending on music and available resources the choir sings both accompanied (piano, organ, orchestra) and unaccompanied. The choir is available for hire. We regularly perform three major concerts each year, usually scheduled for May, August and December. Professional soloists accompany the choir for most concerts.
In November 2008, HCS in conjunction with the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Matthew Toogood, undertook an inaugural interstate tour to perform Handel?s Messiah in regional Victoria and South Australia. By (very) popular demand, the choir repeated this tour in 2009.
In addition, HCS is available year round for one hour performances of a capella European sacred music. These performances serve as a mutual fundraising venture for HCS and charities and churches throughout Victoria. For enquiries click here.
The choir consists of soprano, alto, tenor and bass and currently has approximately 90 members. |

| Choristry is a choral ensemble based in Melbourne, Australia.
Established under the name DeChorum in 2008, the ensemble performs under the direction of conductor, composer and performer Trevor Jones.
The name was changed to Choristry in August 2009.
A fully-auditioned choir, Choristry was formed with the express commitment of performing beautiful choral music at the highest standard. All members of Choristry are experienced vocal performers, many of them soloists in their own right. |

Cinema Nova had its beginnings as a twin arthouse cinema when it opened in August 1992 and has been expanding in size and diversity ever since. Two years after opening, the Nova doubled in size to a four screen complex; adding a fifth screen a year later. December 1999 saw Cinemas 6, 7 and 8 open to a public with an insatiable appetite for fine film. In 2004 three more screens opened including Melbourne?s first purely digital cinema screen. In 2010, just in time for Cinema Nova?s 18th birthday, a further 4 screens were added bringing the total to 15 auditoria. |

| CLOC Musical Theatre is one of Victoria's largest and most successful non-professional music theatre companies. Established in 1964, CLOC commenced performing in church halls and on school stages prior to moving to the Alexander Theatre at Monash University with its 500 seat auditorium. After performing for 38 years at the Alexander Theatre, CLOC has now relocated to its current performing venue - the historical 783 seat National Theatre in St Kilda.
Implicit in the objectives of CLOC (listed below) is the desire to create and present the highest quality non professional music theatre, while at the same time ensuring the long term economic viability of CLOC Musical Theatre Inc.
- Promote an appreciation of the arts ? particularly live theatre - within the community.
- Present public performances of live theatre, concerts and any other activity which promotes the arts.
- Encourage, assist and develop the full range of talents associated with the development of the arts.
- Achieve the highest possible production standards with the resources available. |

| In 1990 Co-Opera was registered as an incorporated association in South Australia with a principal objective to perform operas with regional/remote Australian communities as its main target audience.
In 2010 Co-Opera visited all Mainland States and Territories with over 50 performances of La Boheme. Darwin was again visited and a Boheme in the Park was presented by Co-Opera singers, the Darwin Symphony Orchestra, the Darwin Chorale under the aegis of the Darwin Festival. Particularly encouraging was the enthusiastic reception of communities in the southern districts of Western Australia. |

| Cordelia's Potted Operas was founded in 2014 with the purpose of affording young emerging artists the opportunity to perform alongside more experienced artists, and to gain from their knowledge.
Cordelia's Potted Opera provides an environment for young singers to nurture their talent. They are able to learn a wide variety of skills associated with becoming well rounded performers in the world of opera. As many of the Potted Operas are semi-staged, these young artists also have the opportunity to practise their stagecraft. They are mentored by the more experienced performers. The focus is always on fun and professionalism.

| The chamber orchestra of The Australian Doctors' Orchestra.
Corpus Medicorum was founded in 2002 by Royal Melbourne Hospital cardiothoracic surgeon & violist Phillip Antippa. Inspired by the Australian Doctors' Orchestra, Corpus Medicorum was founded by musical doctors who wanted to continue this fine tradition of music performance, combined with raising funds for The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
'Corpus Medicorum' - meaning body of doctors - aims to keep the spirit of the Doctors' Orchestra alive by performing challenging and popular chamber music recitals several times a year. |
